Begining the process for college ball

I am begin the process for college ball and assuming I pass the field test, ,is  there a website where one can find sample exams, with answers so I may review and see how the exam is as it relates to jersey varsity ball exam. Never have been fond of pick a winner exams as I have a tendency to read into the questions I have saved my jersey exams which I review in nov and dec to get a feel for them again. Thanks

I think the old (at least most recent) exam is on the NCAA Umpire Arbiter site.  (but I haven't really checked to be certain)

Can someone please explain the "field test" to me. I goy in by going to camps. Spending big dollars lining the assignors pockets...

It all depends on the area -- someone needs to see you work before s/he will assign you to a college game.  In some areas, that's just a recommendation from a HS game.  In others, it's a "tryout" at a fall college game.  In others, it's a camp.  (and in some, it's all of the above)
