Watching the Cubs/Pirates game on Comcast Sports Net here in Chicago. Bottom of 2nd Pirates steal 2nd. Cubs catcher goes to throw and hits the head of HPU, double clutches, and throws again. Runner is safe, umpire never calls Umpire Interference which I believe occurred.

Best part of it all though? Top of 3rd. Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies LOOK UP THE RULE, read it verbatim, quoting the exact rule number, explain they thought it should have been called, and say, well, maybe he had a brain fart or something.

These two are actually fun to watch and often look up a rule to read it exactly.

This is a good one.  Is there a video of the play?

Len is one of the best. I enjoy listening to him on those rare and inexplicable occasions when I find myself watching the baby bears. The radio station I listen to has Len on a couple times a week, he's pretty insightful and very funny. Jim is a little boring but he's technically competent.

Not sure if there is a video. I looked that night with no success, I'll try again soon here. Or anyone else is free to try and find it!

I do like Len a lot. Jim isn't horrible but I liked Bob Brenly a lot more.
