So I've got tickets to the Rays vs Astros game next Friday (6/13). Any idea who the crew working this series is? Second, I'm taking my nephew, who starting this fall will be working games with me. How difficult/ what would I need to do to meet the crew before the game, or after? It'd be an awesome experience for a kid and maybe he would take some nuggets of information away from it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Find out where the visiting team is coming in. Don't be afraid to talk to the security guards and make sure you let them know you're fans of the umpires and aren't there to harrass them. They should point you to a nearby gate. Holding a sign helps as the umpires won't stop if you're just standing there. Be there at least two hours before first pitch, two and a half if possible. They will probably arrive in a nice rental car. Don't freak out too much as some guys get a little weirded out by having fans.

Good luck.
