I'm new to the forums and just wanted to say hi. I started umping when I was in college and was coaching freshmen baseball. I got a junior varsity job that took up much more time and really didn't allow me to umpire. Now, after starting a family, I'm getting back in the game as it offers much more flexibility than coaching does.

I also wanted to throw out a quick thank you to everyone posting in the equipment forum. When I got out of umping before I sold all my gear so after much reading I was able to buy all new gear with the help of all reviews and advice.
