I am interested in trading my Wilson West Vest Pro shin guards (A3409) for some lower profile, high quality shin guards. Examples would be the System7 shins or the Honigs Elite shins. Also interested in any opinions of the Champro Hockey style shins or the Diamond shins.

thanks in advance.

Diamond shins are great for anything under HS varsity ball.

Which is why I am hesitant on them. The recommendation to go to a lower profile shin came from a college assigner and I am taking it to heart. What I am truely hoping for is to work out a deal that involves either the Honigs K2010 (which I have heard good things about) or even better would be the System7 shins.

one can wish, right?

Would highly recommend the Wilson charcoal/pro platinum shins. MLB protection and much lower profile than the black ones you have. Only $80 and voted as a top buy at ump-attire.

I went from the diamond ix3s to your current ones down to the charcoals for the same bulky reason.

Will have to look into the charcoals. However, I would also like to stay with the black equipment look (have a WV Gold and will be buying a new black mask for this season.)

That's right!  I forgot you're one of those "shin guards on the outside!" guys.

I have a set of the Champro Hockey Style that I have never worn that I would be willing to sell. Nothing wrong with them...I just wear my Douglas shins all the time and already have a backup.
