I just joined the forum after reading many posts and finding them very useful.  I have umpired Little League for a few years and last year, after managing Little League teams on all levels for 13 years in addition to calling a few, became Chief Umpire.  I find the position fulfilling, great way to meet people and to stay engaged.  All three of my teenage sons umpire in the league and we make a great four man crew for the big games.  It is really fun calling games with your son(s).  I look forward to meeting you all through posts and learning more about being an umpire.  Thanks.

Welcome from the Rabbit in Oz.  I too have had a game with my son- him as a player in masters( over 35's) and with me doing the line.  A great check off my bucket list.
