Another gear junkie

Hey everyone, thought it was about time I posted one of these. My name is Payne. I'm 19 years only almost 20 and have been calling baseball now for 6 years. I started calling select level travel ball and worked my way up rather quickly. At 14 years old I was already calling 14u select ball. I did that for around a year and then began calling high school summer ball and fall ball. I was fortunate enough to be allowed to join the local high school chapter at 18 when I was still in high school. I began calling college ball this past year. This past summer I was able to go to Cooperstown Dreams Park during week 3 and I had an incredible experience. I was a crew chief and worked the dish on an elite 8 game and was also on the championship game. The AABC Mickey Mantle World Series is held in my home town every year and this summer I was invited to call in it. I've been incredibly blessed so far in my short career and only hope that my success can continue. I will be attending The Umpire School this coming January and hopefully can get a job in the minors and work my way up. Oh and I almost forgot I'm a huge gear junkie. Masks are my biggest obsession at the moment but pretty much any umpire gear gets my blood pumping.
