First, from Detroit or not, I can't stand JV ...cocky SOB ...... but, I give both he and Emmel credit for talking through it....

As you know Jeff, I'm from Detroit, too.  JV is a complete cocky SOB douchebag.  He treats fans like $hit away from the stadium/diamond.  He's a great hurler no doubt destined for Cooperstown if he continutes like he has, but, he's still a a$$hole as a person off the field.

If you were hitting Kate Upton for many months, you'd be cocky too!

Good job of Emmel making it obvious that he's moving backward at the end of the 1/2 inning to not engage JV.

Then it appears as though they had a quality discussion in the presence of a witness. :-)
