Other than throwing the bat up where it "could accidently" come down on someone if you are not careful with this (watch the catcher look for it-to make sure it isn't near him), this is the way to go. Just flip the bat on the plate or draw a quick line and walk away right into the dugout and on up the runway knowing you have been tossed. Notice the manager not running out to back his player when he knows he is wrong with his actions. Much different than the one Fairchild had. Same deal and batter wants to get his money's worth and then jetbag Gibson starts in with his "you can't dump him for that" bullcrap and gets tossed also. One of these shows a lot more class to the ejection and it ain't Gibson. Of course this is only a max $500 fine to the player for getting ejected, as any more $$$ than that and the player is allowed to file a grievance claim over the amount.
