I just watched a SEC three man crew get together on a pulled foot at first. The U1 had it all the way, they got together, following NCAA's wish to get it right, discussed it, reversed and got it wrong. More times than not, getting together on BS calls end in getting it wrong.

Was U1 in A? Or were there other runners to put him in B? Were they asked to check by the DEF? PU had to change the call or see it for U1 to change his original call. Was the plate guy watching from the 45' area or 90' away?

My thought if U1 had it and felt good with it - go with it. The 'Get it right' thing we were presented, still has some common sense factors. If he didn't have it 100% then he should have asked right away to the PU following or watching the lane.

Dpeending on the specific situation thats not one that you need to get together on I dont think (but I'd have to review Appendix D oe E - whichever - to see for sure.

Yes the Vandy/Tenn game. The F3 did pull but he pulled toward the outfield. The U1 was in A, PU had a runner coming so he didn't trail the play. Because of how the throw pulled the F3 around the U1 straightlined himself and didn't jab quite fast enough. The thing is he had it, he didn't hesitate, he banged it big.

A you tube video of a you tube video?  Wow.

I think BU went the wrong way to get the look.  Not that I wouldnt be happy to have my plays viewed like this because that would mean Iwas working those games. lol.

I just saw an SEC PU, without being asked, go directly to U1 on a possible 3rd strike check swing. Suhweet!

Still waiting to see BU rule on a check swing on a D3K without being asked.   PBUC says it's a legit mechanic, but never seen anyone do it.

I should have done it the other day.  Still kicking myself for not talking about it pregame and not doing it because it might confuse my partner.  I did think about it though.
