Called behind a K-state catcher last night. He was wearing a Nike. Said he had big XII umps offer him $450 cash during games for his mask. Said he had several. He would not trade one for a strike through :-). I was wearing my All-Star FM25ti. At first he thought we had the same mask.

K-State must have a good Nike contract because I had a game this spring with a D2 catcher who had transferred from K-State and was still using his Nike they gave him there. I almost told him I would take it off his hands after he is done next year....

This looks like Nike pads on some type of steel frame. It doesn't look like a titanium.

I traded both Nikes off for gear I needed. I'm happy, though. I got $1100 worth of stuff! Much better than if I'd sold them for cash.
