NCAA football Week 4

I'm going to make some picks now, not that I've been the greatest, but there a few really good games this week so I shoot for 3 again.

1. East Carolina over the doggiebags -- This will be the toughest game for ECU. I am a bit concerned b/c they only squeaked out a win last week. If they win here the rest of the season is down hill. But they will need to remain focused.
   
2. LSU over Auburn -- This should be one of the best games of the year! Yes, I'm picking a favorite, but they're playing at Auburn and this is a rivalry game a lot of emotion. This game will determine who wins the SEC West in only Week 4.
   
3. Notre Dame over Michigan State -- This could be considered an upset pick, but neither of these teams are exactly what they were. Notre Dame is looking like they may be starting to return to who they once were. Michigan St. is not as strong as they once were, but they're still a good Bit Ten team.
   

These picks are a bit early, but I've been a bit busy with both baseball and that thing called a job, so I wanted to make sure I got them out.

ND was pretty impressive against Michigan last week, though - I think they've got some upcoming opponents worried.

Okay time to eat some crow.

First, Maybe Notre Dame hadn't come as far as I'd thought/hoped, I thought it was going to be a game....

Next ECU lost to the Pack. I blame Regis Philbin. When he gets behind a team they're doomed. On top of that I left the house Saturday morning and then remembered that I forgot to record it. From the highlights it looked like a really good game. But Like I said that was going to be one emoptional game and no matter how good or bad either team is they bring it all against each other. The good news it wasn't a confrence game.

Then I got one right LSU did beat Auburn in another awesome game. I am disappointed to see Auburn ranked below Ohio State this morning. This was not a simple case of the higher ranked team winning, this was a well fought battle. Everything I waas looking for in a game.
