No problem.

The distance is about 21 mi, and as the crow flies, which isn't possible in Atlanta, would take about a half hour. So, counting the time getting your luggage, etc, that would be cutting it close if you arrive @ 1:30. Noon'ish would be perfect.

7 a.m.?!? Did I mention I'm a night-owl who never misses an opportunity to sleep in?!?

Just kidding. Given we'll have a long first day, I'd try to avoid the red-eye if at all possible and maybe shoot for the day before, but I can work with you on whatever day/time you arrive.

Red... I will probably try to get in a day early if possible.... Much better all the way around.

Just heard from Tony today....MLB Instructors for Southern Camp will be Paul Nauert and Charlie Reliford.

Sounds like a great time!

I was just notified today that I have been selected to work the regional tourney next weekend. Pretty amazing to me, I would never have expected this in my first year.

Well... I Took the plunge and sent in my deposit for the Southern Umpires Camp. I have miles on Delta that I can use for the flight... Really looking forward to February.

On another front. Had a great time at the Pony regional...six games including one semifinal, and, one championship game.

Turns out that the posted dates for the Southern Camp were incorrect (originally posted as Feb 10-13) and the correct dates (Feb. 17-20) are, as luck would have it.... not workable for me! Bummer, I was looking forward to it. Guess it is back to the drawing board for me as far as training goes.

Ugh!

Why they change it?

Dates are still good for me. So I'm still going.
