Nations Baseball

Our League is dropping U-trip and signing on with Nations Baseball. I understand that it varies from region to region, but any opinions as to quality of teams (we're in North Texas), dealings with Administration, etc, would be appreciated. From what I hear, Nations people will show up and run our tournaments, from UIC to TD to paying the umpires. I guess we just show up and work..

One of my associations had a falling out with them.

Here's what I know I will try to label what I know as fact versus rumor.

They wanted my association to call their tournament games. - Fact

They wanted umpires to pay a 1 time fee to call for Nations baseball - Fact

They refused to pay our assignors fees - Rumor

They solicited our umpires to work for them outside our association after having a signed contract that they wouldn't - Rumor with some strong plausibility.

They do seem to be growing.

I can't answer the administrative answers, but I have been doing Nations baseball for a couple of seasons here in NC and there is no league in the southeast that puts more teams on the field every weekend than Nations, The quality of these teams speak for themselves, It's tournament baseball.
