Hello to all. I am a rookie umpire but so far have had a great time on the field. Worked mens slow pitch this fall and one 14U girls tourney. It sucks being in the cold weather but gives me a chance to read, read and read some more.

Just softball so far. The local assigner said I might want to do baseball and softball so i can get more game's and get better. Coached my daughter for 6 years (fast ptich) and she is entering high school and she says " I think i want to run track and not play ball" :eek: So i decided to get into umping to stay intouch with the game.

Well, with that track record, make sure you really like every boyfriend see brings home, they'll all be short lived. :cheers:
