Time limit on little league minors game

I was a approached at a scrimmage game about the new time limit on a minor's little league game. Did the time limit change from 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours?

We play drop dead at 90 minutes in 5 leagues we work.

Also 5 run per inning max.

Time limits are usually set by local league, so check with your league UIC.

is this minor A ,B C division ? in LL rules book 2010 you should find the answer . youre local league LL may have an approved rule for time limits ect.... iam in D62 in so cal. for minor A we dont have a time limit , but we declare the last inning about 20 minutes before sunset , if it is an afternoon game (late) . and the last inning is an open inning no 5 run rule . if tied after last inning we go back to 5 run rule per LL , unless we run out of daylight , then game is resumed another day .

in minor B we have no new inning after an 1hr 50 min , and when the last inning is declared, no 5 run rule either . this are LL approved local rule for are league , key is LL approved . hope this helps a little .

In LL, time limits are Local Rules. You'll find all sorts of different time limits league to league.

Ours, is a very simple "No new inning will start after 2 hours", using the rule book definition for an inning, where the next inning begins when the 6th out of the previous inning is made OR in Minors, where we have a 5 run limit, when the play which scores the 5th run is over.

Some leagues have drop-dead time limits, some have a combination of no new inning after X, with a drop-dead time of Y. Check your local rules for the specifics of their time limit rules.
