It is where I would set up for this play. Maybe a little farther away but not much. Only a step or 2. This has to be taken at the 90 degree simply b/c F3 will be in his way if he doesn't. Everything will be coming at him and he will have no angle on anything for this particular play.

It was very close and I don't know what I would have from his angle. Slowing it down makes it appear safe but very close and a completely different (maybe bad) angle.

My question is, ... I hear people talking about "the 90 degree rule" is going away .... is this the reason? Is O'Nora in the proper positioning for this play?

He is. The only other idea is two steps fair, but that almost straight lines him to this play (and in the way to get hit if F3 misses the throw). There's not much he could have done except adjusted left or right if he saw the ball was coming in like it was.

I liked the replay, though. "There's one" ... long pause after replay shows he was safe ... "And there's two."
