Pony umps

For those of you that umpire Pony baseball, is it too late to register as a pony umpire on Pony.org? I was going to register but wanted to ask if you only have to register one time, or if you have to register at the beginning of each season? Would it be safe for me to register today, or wait til next year? Thank in advance!

its never too late for PONY.......you can register anytime....

Just an FYI: I do PONY baseball out here in No.CA; I never 'registered' w/PONY; I get the gigs through my association

You don't have to register with Pony to bo games, it is good to get the rulebooks, patches and newsletter. It is similar to LL, you don't have to but it gives you access to a couple of things you won't normally have access to.

I automatically get registered w/ pony with the annual dues to my VA association. What I like best is I get an OBR book each year,

PONY requires registered Umpires for the sanctioned tournaments.........I've been "registered" every year with them for a loooooong very long time.....I do get the insurance they offer.....
