I had a great assignment, plate for a "Carpenter Cup" game. The tournament is a regional all-star tourny. Had game #10 scheduled for Thursday at 12:30 pm, got moved to 2pm then rained-out and moved to Saturday at 10:30 am. It too rained and was rescheduled for Monday at 10am, but I can not take off from work Monday and have lost game:tantrum:

I had a similar experience last year really looking forward to a particular assignment then something beyond your control happens and you're out of the picture. You earned your way to that assignment, so chances are that opportunity will be there for you somewhere down the road.
