Which is exactly why you should stay on your feet. But, another topic brought up in that thread, you'll notice his positioning is the same as Cuzzi's. Both distance and angle.

With THE MOST RESPECT I CAN GIVE, .... I am going to have to say that Nauert is further away from the play than Cuzzi. I can't "prove it" of course, but this is my best attempt :) .....

I know that the angles are wrong and it's probably inconclusive, but ...I did my best.

SEE A BETTER PICTURE IN A LATER POST.....

Not only are the angles different but so is the zoom. It would be nice to get the same parameters to compare. But, oh well.

I know, and I totally agree ....

I tried though ;)

It just looked / appeared to me to be a different distance ... Cuzzi just seemed sooo close... but again, totally inconclusive

Well if you have never meet Paul, he is one of the nicest guys around and maybe one of the best instructors around. This is a great example of what is call a "read step" Very good job...and a great signal he is selling it very well.. I guess you can see why he was the Chief instructor at Harry's for a while huh?..

Also at PBUC they want us to set up farther way from the play, that way you can see the whole play... I know you have been told to focus on the front of the base to see the touch of the base from the runner and listen to the pop in the glove.. they still want you to look for that.. but if your farther away, you can see it all happen.

Ok, let me try this again with more of a "similar" angle. I think here, if you look at the outfield cutout, it gives you a better perspective....

OK. It does appear Cuzzi is closer since the camera angle is a little better but the field appears to be cut different. So, I wouldn't go by that. I don't think anything will be conclusive of their distance. I still think his positioning is fine. PBUC may be increasing the distance part but I still don't think he is too close. He just needs to stand up so he can move to see the foot better.
