On pass balls, open to the opposite side of the catcher, example.. pass ball goes to the catchers left, HP open the gate toward the left, and it will take you toward the 3BLX...opposite if the ball goes the other way. This way you give the catcher a clear throwing lane.

Before you post something like this make sure you read the entire thread. MidAmUmp and I agree on the same concepts. We just differ on the distance to the play. Thanks for your feedback.... BTW I did read the entire thread...you were getting all pissy cause he posted his resume.....and yea you did agree except on how close the HP should be... Dont just assume I came in a read 2 messages..I did read everything..LOL

Real quick on your rules sheet...if F1 is on the dirt he can go to his mouth in OBR and NCAA as long as he wipes it off... F1 can not be on or astride the rubber.

It is pretty simple... Ball, No he didnt go.. or Ball, no. this way your telling everyone that the pitch was a ball and I ( IMO)did not think he went... If you ( the defense coach/manager/catcher) wants to ask me for help.. Sure I will ask. BTW we as umpires should be saying ball or strike on every pitch that is not hit or swung and missed..

I will agree with MidamUmp here... and yes he should have posted his resume, cause you obviously don't believe what he is teaching. and fittske unless your getting an evaul from MiLB.. dont worry about it..
