Hello My Name is Dennis Eller I have over 30 years Experience umpiring Softball. I do Slo-pitch and Fast Pitch Softball plus NJB basketball and Flag Football. My Favorite Sport is Fast Pitch Softball. I have umpired District,State and National Tournaments, I have done High School, 18 Gold, Travel and Rec Divisions. I enjoy the Case History questions, and Have been involved in a few myself. Looking forward to the discussions on this site.

Also I will Travel to umpire. I am looking to work some college softball games and would like to know the process to become a college official. I average about 10-15 games of fastpitch a week.

Welcome to the site Dennis. I would imagine that it is much the same as baseball. Join a small college group and attend clinics that have DII and DI supervisors observing. There are some good softball guys here that may be able to give you a better idea.
