After 10 years on the field I was finally hit with a batted ball. 3 man. I'm in modified A with R1. Screamer hit 2 feet fair, deflects off F3's glove and straight into my shin as I try to avoid it. Ball bounces back towards first base. F3 fields it and dives to first to record the out. Batter gives me a look like I just shot his dog. Have a nice bump now.

I'd say you were hit by a deflected ball. :)
