Future Umpires on their career path now with ABS

[Casey_Reims]

Hello all. I am a college journalist looking to write a feature on an umpire who has aspirations to make it to the big leagues (or already has) and am curious to see how the view of the job has changed with the advent of ABS. Does the potential of it becoming a full time system dissuade some from pursuing this profession? Or do you simply believe the position will evolve? I would love to speak with any and everyone about their views of this matter. If you wish, please feel free to reach out to me at rza3nv@virginia.edu.

If I were a young aspiring umpire I would more than welcome ABS in my games. I believe that the umpires in MILB have been using ABS for quite a while now.
