HP Umpire Vic Carapazza ejected Yankees manager Aaron Boone (strike one call to Luis García; QOCY) in the top of the 6th inning of the #Yankees-#BlueJays game. With two out and none on, Yankees batter García took a 0-0 knuckle curve from Blue Jays pitcher Shane Bieber for a called first strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and below the hollow beneath the knee (px 0.42, pz 1.53 [sz_bot 1.64 / RAD 1.52]) and that the Yankees had ABS challenges remaining but opted not to use any, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Yankees were leading, 1-0. the Blue Jays ultimately won the contest, 3-1.
