didn't take long for 2

LL-Jr - Visitors are up in the 3rd, 2 out. BR tries to stretch a single into a double, R2 is chugging for home. The tag is made just before R2 touches the plate. My partner calls the out and I announce to both teams the run doesn't score. Bellyaching from the visitors.

V Asst Coach comes out and asks "that last runner didn't score?" I figure I'll be a nice guy "No he didn't" "How could he not get from here to..."

"Are you the HC?"

"No"

"then I'm not talking to you about this"

"Yes you are, How could he not get..."

"Sir, you have to leave the field. You are ejected"

"...I'll leave the field...mumble mumblemumble"

He goes to the dugout and gets his stuff. I go to make sure he leaves. While I'm standing there, the HC turns to another coach and says "It's just a home call". Whip me now, I didn't toss the rat. I did say to him " that will be enough out of you!"

The ejected coach goes to the stands and is yapping there, I call time again and tell the HC the EJ has to go to the parking lot and "no he can't sit and talk to his wife."

Nothing was heard from that dugout for the rest of the game.
