dumbdumb Posted June 7, 2025 Report Posted June 7, 2025 and just like we all have things we do, like scratching our buttocks, pulling on our batting gloves, twirling our hair etc. etc., mlb will have to address the going to the helmet dilemma when they go to challenges for when players try to send subliminal messages about their disapproval (aka, i was just adjusting my helmet) like now, if they draw a line with the bat to show up the umpire. how long after the 2 second challenge can you start bopping your helmet (do we really want another keeping time situation), before you are really sending that message that says you blew the pitch, but the reason i did not ask within 2 seconds is because our team cannot use the signal in the first 4 innings, but i wanted you to get the point subliminally, that i will do it in the 5th because you blew the call and i wanted to let you know. ps-- if anyone asks, i was just adjusting my helmet and nay nay na nay nay, you will look like a jerk if you dump me. yea i did it intentionally, designed and premeditated, absolutely, but once again you will be the one dinged for being a jerk not me, and they will be calling for your firing in the press and social media, not mine. are you a mind reader if you accuse me? don't you like that. i know my rights and ways to make you look bad, and i will use every method possible to make you look bad, fair or unfair, like in officer and a gentleman, and make me, the player, look like the weak and defenseless player against the aggressive, and/or egotistical umpire that thinks everyone in the park came to see them. the game is about the players, not the umpires, so you should be seen and never heard and if they know who you are at the end of the game, you should be fired, no matter what we as players said or did to you, rabbitt ears. once again, seen but not heard for every game of your life. embrace it. just a little poem of mind reading above.
