I have worn this protector for 8 years at the lower levels and still do with no issues and taken many direct non caught pitches and foul balls. Especially good in the heat of summer

I’ll vouch for this!  Bought one as my first CP and still use it to this day.  I love the flexibility and the fit.  Wish it was a little cooler and breathed a bit better though.

I still don’t understand the “lower levels” feelings on the DaviShield though.  I have worn it for every level I have worked (Varsity, college showcase baseball, and a few college softball games) and have no qualms about continuing to wear it as I try to grow my career.  You might feel your lumps a little more than you would with a hard shell CP, but I’ll take the trade-offs.
