Replaying a non-protested game?

Let me explain the situation...  After the game yesterday, one of our coaches discovered that we pitched an ineligible pitcher.  He called the opposing coach and the local league and it was decided that we would replay the five innings in question followed by game two of the double-elimination derby.  Is this legal?  From what I can find, it seems if the game is not protested before the umpires leave the field, the game is considered "in the book.".  Are minor league kids even allowed to play doubleheaders?

What rule set?

 

in general a protest must be announced to the umpire as soon as the rule enforcement is questioned.

4.19(d ) Protest must be before the umpires leave the field  This, however, was not an official protest. It was two managers getting together and agreeing to right a wrong on their own. For a protest it would replay form the point of the infraction.

This is not a DH. Finishing an essentially suspended game is allowable.

So basically there is no real time that the game is official since coach's can agree to replay previous games or parts of games?

As a side note, DHs are not allowed for minors and below, two games in a day aren't allowed in minors.

It's minors and it's up to the league.

They can complete a suspended game first, then play the regular game.
