Time to get rid of the running lane rule or make it instant replay. The rule actually is an anachronism and its enforcemant varies. But assuming there is no running lane rule would Moreland's deviation from his basepath be viewed as intentional to block the fielder or get hit with the throw? It looks like he could have touched 1B on his original path.

Questions of intent are sometimes the most difficult to call from throw interference to covertly throwing at a batter.

That too. Normally F3's glove would not be where it was, over 1B. Was it there because they thought they had a lane because where Moreland started running. I would expect, even in HS, to see F3 with the glove "inside"
