Question

Guest Big E

Runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. Ground ball to 3rd. Runners take off, 3rd basemen goes to tag runner from 2nd. Runner stops and is tagged after runner at 3rd crosses home. Should the run count since it was not a force play? Thanks

also in same game. 2 strikes on the batter. Swings and tips ball that sticks to catchers body but not in his glove. Is the batter out?

Question 1 was already answered.

Not enough information for 2.  IF the ball first went straight to the body, then the ball cannot be caught for a foul tip.  It's a foul ball.  But if the ball first went to the glove and then hit the body, it can be caught for a foul tip.  So, the ball trapped against the body is nothing yet.  If it next gets to the hand or glove, it will be a foul tip and an out.  If it next gets to the ground, it will be a foul ball.
