Looking for Pants 38 waist

I'm in the market for some charcoal gray plate and base pants, 38 waist and at least a 30 or 31 inch inseam (or enough to tailor).  Want to check here before I buy new ones.  I'd prefer Honig's poly wool but would also look at Gerry Davis.

36's may be a bit snug, are they standard or expander waist?
