Great players and managers all, but I never really warmed up to any, except maybe Maddux.  LaRussa and Cox always struck me as a-holes, while Torre was fine until he settled in with the Evil Empire.

 

Thomas was an amazing hitter, for sure, but playing for the White Sox for so long, he kind of got lost in the mix.  Glavine, while being a local (Billerica) product, rubbed me the wrong way with his union stances and tone-deaf comments. 

 

All worthy HOF's, IMHO, though.

I moved to Atlanta from a REAL baseball town 27 years ago, St. Louis, and suffered with Bobby the RAT for years.
