My STRIKE call is loud and clear.

 

When a BALL is anywhere close, after I say BALL, I quietly add; off, in, down or up...just loud enough for F2.

 

When I hear somebody on the bench ask where a pitch was, I operate on the assumption they are asking the catcher.

 

If F2 doesn't respond right away, I'll nudge him with my knee and discretely tell him to answer the bench.

"Coach wants to know where that one was, you know it was outside, tell him."
