I bought a 2005 Ford Freestyle today.

First thing I did? Loaded my gear into it

My first passenger? My Junior umpire base umpire.

My first destination? A baseball field

So of course, I ejected a coach in the game, and with six coaches on the field all yelling at each other, I came oh so close to five more ejections and a double forfeit.

The SUV is batting 1.000... A sign???

It was so STUPID!!

I hadn't any problems up until this point in the game, but apparently these teams had had problems in the past. A batter walked, and the manager and a scorekeeper for the defensive team came onto the field and told me they were appealing a batting out of order. I sent the scorekeeper back immediately, and before I could say "Ok" and look at the lineups, I had three coaches from each team on the field yelling at each other.

"Come on! We've won one game and you're undefeated!"

"Really, this is how you want to beat us?"

"Give us the right lineup then!"

I was getting PO'd and yelled out (over all the yelling back and forth) that I wanted "ONE MANAGER FROM EACH TEAM!!"

No one was listening, and I was about to start tossing assistants when I heard the 3BC for the offensive team tell the defensive manager to "stop getting so huffy-puffy"... He responded with "Huffy puffy? I'm not huffy puffy! You want to SEE me huffy puffy!?!" all the while getting closer and closer to the 3BC, to the point that he was chest to chest with him... I stepped in between them and told the defensive manager he was ejected... The rats all got scared after that and scurried back to their dugouts.

They ended up correctly appealing the batting out of order too for an out.

My partner was @AceJJ, one of my Junior umps and he did a great job... Two coaches were getting into a side argument after things started simmering down, and he shut it down before it began with a stern "THAT'S ENOUGH!" and a stop sign. That's my boy!!
