There's almost no possible way to get a good angle on that call.  It happens so fast.  I think you have to be 100% sure it's fair before letting this play out because it's going to be foul the majority of the time.

Yeah, tough call.  Also tough to be doubled-up on a ball that was foul.

 

Would the 1B/3B umpires likely have had a good look at it?  If so, why wouldn't the PU get help when asked knowing that he didn't have a good angle?
