Bot 3 home team down 14-0. Batter takes on the inner half for strike one and looks at me funny. Strike 2 he swings and misses. The next pitch is middle of the plate and crotch high, practically sitting on a tee. WHOA 3! The batter looks at me and throws his bat up against the back stop and walks off. What was strange is in the next inning another batter from the home team swings and misses at three straight pitches to K. He also more less flips his bat over to the dugout and the coach says I should have dumped him also

The first one, absolutely. The second, hard to tell from the description but if his coach thought he should go, he may have a point.

It was clearly out of frustration on the 2nd one. He had noting to be mad at me about.

Second one may have gotten a talking to about the bat depending on the distance. I may talk to the coach in between innings to let him handle it. Especially if he did it while close to HP but it does depend on how far he tossed it. Frustration at himself and clearly at himself, I let it go as well. The coach just wanted you to b/c his player was and possibly isn't able to discern the difference.
