Teen baseball player helps save umpire's life using CPR

An umpire had just collapsed from an apparent heart attack during a high school game Friday night. A 16 year old player reacted quickly, confidently, skillfully, and helped save the ump's life.

We need more 16 year olds like this. He'll remember this for the rest of his life and so will the ump.

That's an awesome story.  Good job there kid!

Many people do not know how they would react to something like this, it's really a heroic thing to jump in and try and save someone's life.  Most are too frightened to even try.  Says a lot about the kid really.

We all need to hope that if we ever need assistance, that there are trained people available to give it.

I've taken the CPR course from the American Heart Association a couple years ago.  I would highly recommend taking it.
