First off, good video. Now to music choice, I am in the business and I despise everything to do with rap,hip/hop. I hate the repetition, lack of musicality, the complete lack of honesty by the promoters and performers. The only genre I work where we have to use metal detectors and pat downs on the stage door. However, in this case, the lyrics do match the video content. I personally just turn the noise off and watch the video but then you lack the total experience. I know the lyrics didn't exactly match, but that's expected because there's a grand total of two songs out there about umpires and both of them lack the point I was trying to stress here; being an umpire is hard work.

I'm saying I hate rap and everything about it but in this case it does fit. And believe me I have worked with the biggest in the business personally, it is not music, it is straight repetition, The artist are out to screw the promoters and fans, the promoters are out to screw the acts and could care less about the fans. I set these shows up and go to my office to avoid the noise.

However, it does work here but if I was doing the videos I would use music only, no vocals at all, no matter the genre.

I'm not saying all rap is good, but it is far from all bad. And again on your statement, I will never stress it enough; Chris. Rene.

One of the upcoming rap artists right now and every single one of his songs is far from the evil you think it is.

He is never out to screw his fans.

Neither are his promoters.

Also, the vocals is really more of an artists choice, to get a better point across because honestly (and I think you might have to agree), music without vocals set the repetiviness of my style would get super lame and rather boring real quick.

As to your example, never heard of him, don't care. You have absolutely no knowledge of what the promoters do or not do, I have first hand knowledge of the business, you have opinion and supposition and a teenage naivete.
