HPU's timing is TERRIBLE.  He was calling strikes before the ball was in the mitt.  He was calling dirt balls strikes.  You would hear him saying "STRIKE" before you heard the smack of the catcher's mitt.  Not good!  He missed a bunch of pitches IMHO.
