When their hands go up you call "time". You then run out and take a look and see if the ball is really stuck or see if it's gone under the fence.

PU takes takes the runners around the bases.

He gets real busy with multiple runners on.

Just remember " Once you go out, don't come back in"

I'm not arguing with you, Big... I can see this easily being done by the BU with runners on any base, but with bases empty... 

 

Does the BU abandon his pivot and taking of the BR, or... hell, I'm not even going to complete the question, because the PU going out there is pretty much unfeasible. So how does this work?

Since the defencive player wont be playing the ball its easy for the PU to watch all the runners touch the bases and make a mental note of where they were when the ball suposably went out of play.  BU goes out to check and PU just stands there and then directs the players if Bu indicates "2 bases".

 

Its just not that hard.

 

Forgot to add, then PU brushes off the plate and walks around for a while to give BU a chance to catch his breathe after all that running. lol.
