Finally a good game to call

My season started Feb 9th.

 

For what ever reason I've had a lack of good games to call. I've maybe had 2 competitive games, but while competitive was not a good game. 

 

I've had a 21-20 8 inning 4 hour game. 

I've had a D-II double header where the combined score was 50-6. 

I've had a number of games where a top ranked team vs an awful team.

 

Today I worked with basejones for the first time in a while and we had a competitive game. I had the dish, but he had a number of bangers on the bases. We had a 5-4 game in just under 2:00.

 

This is the type of game I like to have.

 

Unfortunately Friday I'm back to reality. I have a team which is leading the district vs a school whig has maybe won 20 games in the last decade. Grrrrr.

Some seasons seem to better than others. I have a string of less than stellar games. Teams that are traditionally good, aren't, others than are traditionally bad are pretty good. It has made assignments weird.
