True or False OBR:

R3, 0 out. R3 tries to steal home on the pitch. The catcher gets up to catch the ball, but moves in front of the plate to get the ball and interferes with the batter, who is trying to squeeze bunt. The offensive team’s manager can exercise his “option†and either have R3 score and the pitch doesn’t count OR R3 stays on third base and the batter is awarded 1st base.

This is a rule 7.07 violation. Both CI and a balk.  R3 gets home. Batter gets 1B. Any other runners advance a base. There is no manager's option in 7.07.

Good catch on the balk Rich, forgot about that.
