Cancer awareness / fund raising

We all hear a lot about cancer awareness. Some boards or groups do fundraising and wear either the pink shirt or wrist bands or the light blue wrist bands.

Some of the uniform suppliers give a donation for each pink shirt sold.

What do you do to raise funds or help raise funds as an umpire?

One of our guys, with association support, sold pink ribbons last year to be worn during May.  The association took no official stance other than to allow the ribbons to be worn on the uniform.  All funds collected were sent to SGK Foundation.

We do a tournament to support JDRF, every umpire that works does it for free.  The majority of the games have from 4 to 6 umpires.
