First Plate in 10 Months

I am working my first Plate game today after having been on the shelf for the last 10 months. I had my first Base Thursday. Other than being a little sore I came out of it fine.

Good luck, ! Don't suck . What put you on the shelf? Injury?im a big believer in stretching. Stretching for 10 minutes adds 10 years to your career .

Yeah I was in a pretty serious Motorcycle accident. I survived, the wife made me sell the bike and I lost 10 months of umpiring.

 

Game went very well. I felt right back at home. The losing coach came over to me as I was leaving the field and said, "You did a great job back there today. Very consistent strike zone all game. Thank you."

 

That always makes you feel good.
