Base turfs vs trainers

For the guys that wear trainers on the bases, do you only wear them on clear days or certain fields? Do you worry about losing traction versus the NB 995/ 950 or Zig Quad IV? I noticed that members will post sales about trainers such as the reebok but they don't have the turf sole but rather a sneaker-like sole.

I have worn Nike Air Diamond trainers for 10+ years. Never any issues. I have switched to the Reebok Zig for next season. I'll review after I get them on the field.

I use both and i only base my decision on what I feel like. Neither has what I would consider better traction or looks. Because I like NIKE, I choose to buy their trainer due to them not offering a base shoe.
