I just received my numbers today in the mail from honigs and was wondering why they are different sizes. For the navy shirts/jackets the number is almost a half of an inch taller and wider then the others that i ordered for my black and polo blue shirts. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this or if its the norm. Any answers to this would be great as I am a stickler for things being alike.

Glad we don't wear numbers down here in Texas. I had to wear them in Louisiana for a couple of years it just made the shirts cost more...plus now with 5 colors approved for high school...having two of each plus LS and Jackets...you would spend a mint on buying the numbers and then having someone put them on. They do look sharp, but not worth it IMHO.

Honig's is the only provider of the exact numbering styles and sizes that you will find on MLB uniforms. The R/W numbers on the old MLB navy shirts are the same style that honig's sales today. The W/B/W and the B/W/B numbers can be found on todays MLB uniforms. What you have received is correct.

This is the norm, and Honig's is the only place that has the W/Polo/Black numbers for Polo Blue shirts.

I've ordered numbers from Official's Choice, and they are flimsy, skinnier, and don't look close to Honig's. They're like paper.

I use double-sided tape to attach my numbers, and remove them when not needed.
