Where do you measure your CP at to find out how long it is. I bought my platinum off Craigslist for a steal that I couldnt pass on.

Also where do you measure on your chest to determine how big of a CP you should get?

What size dress shirt, and/or suit do you wear?

Ive never really been fitted for that kind of stuff. I know my neck is 17 1/2 -18. I'm 6'2 190 if that helps

Ok, what do you want to know?

Again, there is a TON of info on these boards about how a CP should fit. I started one a few weeks ago. A lot of guys (myself included) have a CP that will cover ALL of my ribs. I'm 5'11 and 225, I have a 17.5 size neck in a dress shirt, and wear a 46 regular suit. I'm a pretty big guy (need to lose at LEAST 20 pounds, working on it.) I have both a 15" All-Star CPU4000, and a Douglas 15". Both of these cover my ribs TOTALLY without being TOO long on me. Both my rigs have the All-Star Delta Flex harness on them which will make them sit nice and high on your neck (this is good) and it won't ride too low either.

Now, on the way to my house is a 13" Douglas I found on Craigslist and had refurbished at Douglas. I wanted to try a 13" and this thing was too cheap to pass up. My post a few weeks ago talks about CP coverage, and asked how many guys have their bottom ribs exposed. Well, ... most guys do have them exposed and wear a shorter rig. Look at the pros ...Joe West wears a 12 or 13" for God's sake :)

So, it all boils down to what most equipment rules come to be .........PERSONAL PREFERENCE ;)
