Player Ejection

Had a 12U game yesterday. R3. Single to Right field. R3 comes to Home standing full speed. Catcher is standing behind the plate. R3 takes out the catcher with arms extended after he scores. I immediately eject the R3.

My question is I let the run score. Was I correct or should he have been out?

By the way there where no complaints from coaches for the ejection. Only the parents in the stands.

You were correct. If the action is after scoring then score the run and eject the player.

Good job Jax, let the run score. Same with catchers obstruction on a play at the plate and R3 runs F2. Ding the catcher with obstruction and score the run, then eject the runner.
