I said earlier I wasn't going to bitch about the weather any more but apparently I lied.

I've now had a total of 27 games cancelled this year due to rain including 5 since last Sunday.

I'm scheduled for a game tomorrow night that I fear if we get 1 more drop of rain it will be cancelled too. That field is in terrible condition to begin with.

I would never have imagined losing 27 games in a season and with my availability being lower than it once was its even more shocking to me. I'm not even at 100 games played for the year yet....

This year.....2008...20 games cancelled by weather...and that does count the 4 summer league games cancelled for lack of players..

In total 24 games lost...

The seasons aren't the problem too often here, it is when we start district tournaments. Huge thunder storms loom and tornado watches and warnings are all across the state. By the end of the tournament, we are usually a day behind.
